How to Calculate Commission Manually

To manually calculate your commission from a sales transaction, follow these steps:

Determine the total sales price of the transaction.
Identify the commission rate as a percentage.
Convert the commission rate into a decimal by dividing by 100.
Multiply the sales price by the decimal commission rate to get the commission amount.
Example: If the sales price is $250,000 and the commission rate is 3%, the calculation would be:
